Compass was founded in 1998 with the primary mission of helping organizations turn around troubled information technology (IT) projects. Since then, our capabilities and experience have significantly expanded to include multiple Performance Improvement, Program/Project Management, and Acquisition Management areas. We have deep expertise in Business Process Improvement, Program Management, Project Performance Measurement, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) program development and administration, Acquisition and Contracting Management, Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC), Strategic Communications, Requirements Definition, Independent Verification and Validation, Organizational Change Management, and other related disciplines.

In addition the company has a strong professional services training practice. Compass has developed and delivered proprietary courses in Strategic Planning, Organizational Change Management, Project Management, Earned Value Management, and Capital Planning Investment Control. In partnership with the Federal Acquisition Certification (FAC) Academy, Compass has developed, and delivered the entire suite of the Advanced Practitioner Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers (FAC-P/PM) Level 3 courses to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS.)
